Hundreds of thousands marched and rallied last weekend in over 50 towns and cities across the UK on a National Day of Action protesting the cost of living crisis in the largest coordination of simultaneous protests in major cities including London, Liverpool, Manchester for many years.
Marchers supported striking rail workers by rallying outside King’s Cross rail station in central London.
The organizers of the ‘Enough is Enough‘ campaign list their five demands as:
- A real pay rise
- Slash energy bills
- End food poverty
- Decent homes for all
- Tax the rich
