IDC statement – Solidarity with Palestine

Every day, countless innocent civilians—men, women, and above all children—are being killed or forced into unimaginable suffering under a genocide that the international community can no longer ignore.

The International Dockworkers’ Council (IDC) refuses to remain silent in the face of this barbarity. Our duty as workers and as human beings is clear: to denounce the massacre, demand respect for life, and organize international solidarity.

Together with UNRWA, the official UN agency, and unions across the world, we are launching concrete actions:

  • Recognition of the State of Palestine.
  • Coordination of humanitarian aid.
  • International campaigns of peaceful pressure, including support for the BDS movement.
  • Collection of food, medicine, and essential resources for civilians.

Statements of support are not enough. It is time to move from words to real, organized action.
This is not charity: it is international solidarity. Neutrality in the face of genocide does not exist.

From the docks of the world we raise our voice: no more murdered children, no more families condemned to hunger. Enough is enough.
