I’m Monique Mosley, and I’m standing for the Executive Council because our region—the North East, Yorkshire, and Humber—deserves a bold voice ready to take on the fights that matter to working people. Our communities have been hit hard by job cuts, underinvestment, and the constant exploitation of workers’ rights. This region has long been the backbone of British industry, but we’ve seen jobs stripped away, wages eroded, and rights trampled. Well, I say it’s time to push back, harder than ever.

We need to build a union that refuses to be ignored. If elected, I will stand up for secure jobs, decent pay, and protection from exploitation across every sector. When our members face unsafe conditions or exploitative bosses, we shouldn’t just negotiate—we should mobilise. I’ll fight for our union to take a militant stance against employers who refuse fair treatment, and I’ll work to ensure our members are organized, informed, and empowered to act. Our union is only as strong as our collective resolve, and together, we can force the change we’ve waited for too long.

For too many years, workers in our communities have seen promises broken and protections stripped away. I won’t stand for our members’ futures being gambled away. I’m committed to organizing for real job security, higher wages, and the end of zero-hour contracts and casualized labour that leave working families vulnerable.

From the shipyards to the steelworks, the factories to the warehouses, we are united in a common cause.

Vote Monique Mosley for a louder, more militant voice on the Executive Council—a voice that won’t back down until the workers of the North East, Yorkshire, and Humber get the respect, security, and rights they deserve.
